That is a problem--i really like a solid tender and have a small walker bay--but have to tow it which isnt ideal although i did do that on the summer cruise --and still sailed the pants off a 35ft endurance ketch !!!

Mine appears to be a formica like laminate over a plywood base. Some of it is scratched and dirty looking and i am trying to work out a way of getting it off the plywood base and having an alternative finish.

You may have to get one custom made--if they are the old alloy ones that i have as well then it is worth replacing with stainless steel. All you need is an old one as a pattern and take it to a ss fabricator.

I have just been in contact with peter at windpilot who has reccomended the pacific lite version but with a new remote control option.
Think that is the way it will go.
